Mt Maria was fortunate enough to host the Papua New Guinea Cricket team a few weeks ago, as they trained for the ICC World T20 East-Asia Pacific qualifiers. The team prepared for the competition with warm up matches at MMC, even donating a signed jersey to the College as a message of thanks. The PNG team finished the tournament undefeated to win the ICC World T20 East-Asia Pacific 'A' Qualifier, ensuring that the team are well on their way to qualifying for the ICC World Cup T20 in 2020.
