National Reconciliation Week

To mark the beginning of National Reconciliation Week, many of students and families gathered at Teralba Park to acknowledge the hurt and pain of those affected by the Stolen Generation and joined in solidarity with our First Nations brothers and sisters to continue and strengthen the healing journey.

Our Year 7 & 8 students joined together with a number of other Christian schools, hosted by Hillbrook College, to begin the week of Reconciliation in the spirit of connection and togetherness.
The Australian Aborigines and Torres Strait Islander people enjoyed games, sports, and pastimes in their leisure times and as a part of their specific cultural ceremonies and activities.
Games and sports were played to enhance everyday cultural learning for the indigenous children, taught by elders and parents of their tribal group.
