Vocational education and training (VET) courses build practical and professional skills through nationally recognised training Organisations that help students to achieve their potential and progress in their chosen field.

Students are able to study accredited courses off campus and courses available are subject to change.​

Trade Training Centre

Mt Maria College is partnered with 2 local schools and colleges in the Brisbane North West Trade Training Centre which is located on the grounds of Mitchelton State High School. The Centre provides students with the ability to access courses that will allow them to build specific skills.

School-Based Apprenticeship & Traineeship (SAT)

Entering employment as a Trainee or Apprentice is a way for Students to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful. The majority of learning takes place 'on the job', students will also complete a Certificate II or III qualification through self-directed modules of assessment. Usually this assessment is managed by case manager who is employed by the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering the Certificate course.
